As per latest reports, a German bride and Indian bridegroom got married in a Hindu marriage ceremonial in Dindigul.
The 25 year old Naveensekaran who belongs to Dindigul had gone to Germany to complete his higher studies. After finishing his course, he got a good job and has since started residing in Germany.
Naveensekaran and German female named Theresa Haberl got close to each other and took decision to get hitched – but in the Tamil Hindu custom.
The marriage ceremony took place on August 29 and had all the facets of a customary marriage like pada pooja for parents, putting on toe ring, in-laws exchanging garlands. The marriage reached a crescendo with Naveen tying the thali around Theresa neck.
From the bride’s side, around 70 people comprising her parents, brother, pals and relatives became part of the marriage ceremony and blessed the pair.
The best part was that the males put on veshti and shirt and the females, silk sarees. The females also embellished their hair with special flowers.
